You know what, Carol Williams, I don’t care if you lose your job because you were dumb enough to step in front of a moving vehicle and have your gorilla foot run over by Paris Hilton’s boyfriend because he was blinded by hundreds of your buddies’ strobes. If I was there during your pleas to not be photographed, I would’ve shot away and posted your image all over the place because you are not partially at fault for this accident—this was ALL YOUR FAULT! And thankfully your image IS being plastered all over internet because of your stupidity.
What a hypocrite you are to tell someone not to photograph you while in public! When your own job requires you to chase down celebrities and photograph them against their will. More important, in the process of harassing celebrities, you violate various laws to get your precious photos. Just curious, would you have stopped photographing Ms. Hilton if she had asked you to stop?
And how do we even know that you didn’t intentionally get run over so you could file a frivolous lawsuit against Cy Waits and Paris Hilton and settle out of court for some big payout that you don’t deserve? Personally, I can’t wait to see you get fired and charges pressed against you and your photog gang for being a menace.
For the record, I strongly support photographers (including law-abiding paps) and their right to photograph people in public without consent. But when someone breaks the law to get their images, gets injured in the process, and then tells people not photograph her (as if the rules don’t apply anymore). Well, that just irks the hell out of me.
Here’s another angle of the accident with a nice long shot of Carol Williams—the law-breaking paparazzi who caused this mess.
I am not sure if you read Caro’s statements but she is taking full responsibility for her part in the accident and she is not freaking out or attacking Paris and her boyfriend. She is behaving classier than any pap I have ever heard that yell sue, sue. She is not out to blame anyone and takes responsibility for her actions. She was also in shock which accounts for the reaction about her photos being taken.
If Paris did not want to be photographed she would not have gone to BOA with her boyfriend.
A double post from Jean…must be an acquaintance/friend of Carol’s.
My post speaks for itself.
But if Carol was such a class act, she would be claiming the accident was ENTIRELY HER FAULT, since it was. I also do not believe Carol was in shock because she had her foot run over by a car. It’s happened to me and it’s not that big of deal. More important, I believe Carol was very clear headed after the accident and was telling the other paps not to photograph her (which is LAUGHABLE!!! especially coming from a pap) because she was trying to protect herself from the consequences of being caught doing something illegal. Like standing in the middle of the road, blocking a vehicle. Can’t wait to see the new pap law take down its first victim.
In your opinion though, does someone in shock repeatedly tell people not to photograph her because she doesn’t want to lose her job?
And yes, I did read Carol’s statement. Again, she should’ve claimed full responsibility for causing the accident.
What Cy did was a hit and run and many other paps went of went crazy and tried to sue and not even taken part of the responsibility they would have acted like they had the right to be there. It seems this carol is being applauded by some for not acting like that and people usually do not see that from other paps and Cy did hit and run so there is some responsibility to be taken on his part.
What Carol did was cause an accident.
Stop trying to deflect responsibility from Carol and divert attention on to Cy for this accident when Carol is the cause of it. Plus, the “hit and run” is after the fact; it has nothing to do with the reason why this incident occurred. If Carol wasn’t breaking the law and standing in front of a moving vehicle on a street then the accident would never have happened in the first place. More important, it’s not like CY left maliciously. Once he realized Carol placed her foot under his tired (via social media), he did contact the police. I’ll be very surprised if Carol doesn’t receive some kind of financial settlement from Cy or Paris. But we will see. I would like to see her charged with violating the law though.
Yes she has stated that she wants to take responsibility for her actions, but she is still the first photographer or pap I ever heard say that and not yell sue or act like they had the right to be there. She said she should not have been there in the first place.
That’s great, but what’s your point?
Should Carol be put on a pedestal for not suing someone because her actions caused an accident and her own injuries? Maybe she should sue herself. And for the record, Carol stated that she was only partially at fault for the accident. That’s just not true. It was entirely her fault. But please explain how Cy is also responsible for causing this accident?
And do you actually have another example of a pap not suing a celebrity in a similar case like this? Meaning, the pap was entirely at fault for the incident and violated the law at the same time, but still filed a lawsuit. And no, celebrities assaulting/attacking paps because they were legally following the celebrity and photographing them do not apply.
You know if the Carol didn’t tell people not to photograph her while she was in public, then this post wouldn’t even exist because it’s absolutely ridiculous that a pap would tell people not to photograph her while in public.
But keep defending her all you want.
I’m done.
She knows it was illegal she admitted it. I know the “do not take my picture” is ridiculous but she is not asking for anything and know she was wrong and learned from it.
