Paul Mawhinney was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Over the years he has amassed what has become the world’s largest record collection. Due to health issues and a struggling record industry Paul is being forced to sell his collection.

I’d actually seen a doc on this guy on TV.. really is sad to see this sort of thing fall by the wayside.
Me too. I accidentally caught this one day on PBS. It was playing between shows. It’s definitely sad to see things like this happen. You’d think the Music Hall of Fame would come in and buy his collection for a good price.
